Village Times needs you.....

Sunday, 23 November, 2014 - Modified on Sunday, 23 November, 2014 at 10:31 pm

Village Times has been reporting on events across the parish since December 2011. In that time we’ve been present at Christmas lights switch on events, music festivals, a school wedding, sports days, art exhibitions and district council planning meetings to name but a few.

We’ve supported the scouts, the library, the campaign for super fast broadband, reported on crimes, celebrated achievements and generally championed everything about the wonderful parish we live in.

For those who don’t know me my name is Jason Bate, I run Village Times and I’ve spent most of my professional life in the local newspaper industry working for the likes of the Express & Star, Shropshire Star, Birmingham Mail, Coventry Telegraph and Sunday Mercury. I’ve recently been fortunate enough to be offered an exciting opportunity for a new challenge in the PR industry, the only downside being that I no longer feel that I can fully do Village Times, and the community it serves, justice.

To that end, and wishing to see Village Times continue to grow and develop, I’m looking for an individual (or individuals) who might be interested in taking on the challenge. That may be as owner of the site or as someone working to develop the site as a business alongside me, whatever it may be I’d be interested in talking to you.

In the first instance, if you are interested please email me at Jason@villagetimes.co.uk or call 07428 180660.
