Brewood Sales and letting office, Concentric Lettings has recorded a best ever month since opening in March 2013 thanks to the community spirit and hearty welcome from the villagers.
Karen Mills of director of Concentric Lettings who has worked in the property sales and lettings industry for over 20 years, decided to open up her new branch in Brewood after recognising that the village was such a vibrant place with a great sense of community, but was not being properly served by any local agents. All other trade could be conducted within the village, but not sales and lettings, which is a very personal transaction.
Karen says, “When someone is looking to buy or rent their new home, the first thing they do is go to the area they want to live and have a look around, the problem was that there wasn’t anyone doing this, tenants or purchasers would then have to drive quite a few miles away and into a completely different county to find an agent to talk to. Word of mouth in a village community is also paramount and having a property centre to pop into and to focus on all things property is key to keeping abreast of all the important transactions and moves taking place”.
Since opening, Karen has taken on lots of properties in and around the area over the first 9 months of trade, however considering they started from a standing start in March, they are over the moon with the results from November (traditionally a quiet month in Property) In the month of November the team at the small Church road office has stacked up 9 Lets and a sale in one month alone, with many more in the pipeline.
In November the village property shop also welcomed new team member, Louise Touhig, to join Karen and Amy. Louise has joined the team from head office and comes with a wealth of experience both in this country and in Asia too. The team consists of Karen Mills who specialises in Property Investment and sales, Louise who works with landlords and tenants and Amy who mans the office and carries out the administration and property Inspection/Inventory roles too.
The team enjoyed joining in with decorating the shop ready for the Brewood Christmas lights switch on and is making plans, for a storming year next year as their customer base grows and the ladies look forward to welcoming to locals who wish to discuss any property issues they may have.
