Tuesday, 27 March, 2012 - Modified on Tuesday, 27 March, 2012 at 10:32 am

Brewood Cricket Club is holding an open evening for local parents and their children who may be interested in learning to play cricket in Brewood.  If you have a child aged 6 or over, who enjoys or may be interested playing cricket, then pop along to Brewood Cricket Club on 3rd April at 6.30pm.  The club are particularly looking for year 4 children to enjoy regular coaching and kwik cricket sessions. This is an ideal opportunity to meet the coaches and see the facilities. Why not enjoy a drink in the pavilion whilst you're there?

Kwik Cricket is an approved product of the ECB and forms a key part of the ECB youth development programme. Kwik Cricket helps to encourage children take part in sport as it focuses on being fun. The game is designed to provide children with an introduction to cricket and help develop their skills.

Junior Organiser, Tony Gubby, explained that "children can come and try the coaching sessions for a couple of weeks before deciding whether to join" and he welcomes all parents who want to come and see the club.  Junior cricket coaching takes place on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.  For more information contact Tony Gubby on 07802 534129 or visit www.brewood-cricket-club.co.uk.
